Personal Rav-Kav
First issuance of the Rav-Kav card is free of charge – click here for information about Rav-Kav issuance.
The personal Rav-Kav card grants discounts according to the Public Transportation Law based on the relevant profile (Regular, Youth, Student and Extended Student, Senior, Disabled, Blind, National Insurance Eligibles). After a profile expires, it’s not possible to continue using subscriptions loaded onto the card that were purchased at a discount under the profile.
The card, bearing your name and photo, is personal, and subscriptions loaded onto it are non-transferable.
Subscriptions loaded onto the card, as well as the amount of accumulated value on it, are insured against loss or theft and can be restored at no charge except for the renewal cost.
The card is valid for eight years from the date of issue, after which a new card must be issued. For an expired or damaged card, no renewal fee is required.
